Nursing School

So this last lab we actually did nurse things...it was so exciting. I'm getting somewhere in my education!!! So this was us learning how to give injections...granted we are giving them in a grapefruit...but it's alot like skin and muscle...right?

Emma's night out with Grandpa

Emma had a daddy/daughter dance for activity days. My dad took her and they had a blast. It was a 50's sock hop type of activity. Thanks Dad for taking her!

Skydiving

So who needs real skydiving when there is simulation skydiving? So for Peter's bday they invited Emma to go

with them. It was so cool and rather funny. It almost made me pee my pants from laughing so hard! Kids flying randomly in the air...hilarious. Anyway..so fun. Clearly Emma was having fun by the look on her face.

Holidays

Hm...I forgot that today was St. Patty's day. I sent my child to school wearing not a spec of green. Great mother I am...I tell you what. I didn't wear green either...and we are a lot Irish for gosh sakes! Gosh...what a total Mormon word...cracks me up. Anyway, I need to get better at acknowledging holidays I suppose, even the small ones.

Hair cut

So I got a hair cut today, as well as a color. Now that I don't work as much I can't get this done near as often as I would like. I love getting my hair done. I used to change my hair all the time. It's how I pacified my need for instant gratification. I don't so much anymore cause I think I'm in the growing out stage. I really like the color this time...very springy! I'll have to enjoy it cause I can't get it done for another 6 months or so.

Loans

Who's thankful for student loans??? Oh I am. I would never be able to go to school without them. I'ts a relativly easy process...so that's nice. I finished a class last night...yahoo! Another one down. I start a new one on Tues...so not much of a break. Clinicals start soon, so I'm excited for that. All is well here...happiness abounds!

Ohhh...school

You know...I often wonder every day why on earth I waited till I was 31 to go to school. I was just as smart when I was say...20 when life was so much easier. I suppose I have a little more knowledge now then I did then...but oh well. I'm really excited to start clinicals and doing nurse things...it's going to be rad! I hope Emma knows just to go to college after highschool and start doing what she wants right away. I stress that to her all the time...she's fully aware of how important an education is. Life is a funny thing I think...anyway that's all for now. Really random thoughts today...
