Grandpa/Granddaughter Western Dance

I'm so thankful to have a Dad that's so great! He's taken Emma to both of the daddy/daughter dances. Her dad lives in TN, but I know he'd love to take her if he were closer. Emma loves these dances. She planned her outfit. She's getting to that age where I have less and less say in her clothing choices. They line danced and had sloppy joes...so fun!

Spring background

OK....well the editing in Blogger sucks! I had a whole paragraph written and somehow it's been deleted! Whatever! Anyway...I changed my page from wintery Christmas page to a more springy page. I've spent about an hour now perusing other people's blogs while I should have been doing homework. Oh well...this is far more interesting. Anyway, I can't wait till school is over and Emma and I can take exciting trips and do way more fun things than we do. Speaking of which...graduation is right around the corner for me! I have only 3 more classes before I graduate! Singing praises...So for the last 6 days I've been hanging out with Liam and Sean so Michael and Shelley went to VA for CRNA interviews. Yes...they will be leaving this fall for school...in another state. I will miss them terribly! Shelley is my best friend. I haven't been taking too many pics latley...but here are a few.

Shelley, Mary and I took the kids to a really cool concert where the Colorado Symphony played for the kids. They sat in a huge circle and the kids got to sit right up on stage and watch them play.

We took the kids to the Stock Show...this was them in the horse trailor. If you want to tire some kids out...take them there! We had a blast. Thanks Mom for taking us!

Christmas...a little late

So I suck at keeping up on blogging...here are some Christmas pictures. Christmas is getting way more crazy at the Buckwalter house. Everyone keeps multiplying and replenishing the earth...or at least the Buckwalter house. There are kids everywhere! I love it though. It's how I grew up, so it's normal to me.

So this is the fam...everyone was here for Christmas! Love it!
Cute pic of my Mom and Emma. I love this picture.

Emma got her WII for Christmas. We need some new games!

We had a gingerbread making party at Shelley's house on Christmas eve. We had homemade pizza and made houses. It was fun!

My sweet Emma

This is the posterior view
In this picture, she had been sitting in front of the heater, so her face is abnormally red!

So Emma's friend from school had a "red carpet" bday last weekend. Emma really wanted her hair in ringlets. Now for anyone who knows us...we have super thick hair, and that's a super time consuming ordeal. Anyway, I caved, and we spent 1.5 hours curling her thick hair. It turned out so dang cute though. She dressed up in her cute dress with her cute hair and went to her cute party. She had a great time!

Sweet, Sweet baby Adam

My Wednesday Adams...she was so excited for this costume...and she pulled it off quite well.

Um......interesting.
So...halloween is such an interesting holiday...it's fun for kids, but as an adult watching from the sidelines...it's odd. Basically we send our kids to beg for food??? Whatever...we had alot of fun doing it. We did trunk or treat at the church, which was totally fun.

So we went on a family cruise for my mom's 50th bday to the western Caribbean. We had to skip Haiti due to the lovely hurricaine...but we didn't miss anything else. I was able to get scuba certified on the trip...the bottom of the ocean, at least at 35 ft is really pretty. I can't wait for my next trip! Oh wait...that's a long ways away...school is still my life!
